Helene Speight: The Apprentice made me a monsterThe People reports Apprentice finalist Helene Speight has said the show made her life a nightmare claiming: "It turns people into monsters." Helene was secretly rushed to hospital after collapsing with stress during filming - and then had to face Sir Alan Sugar in the boardroom while still in pain. She declared: "We were all treated like cattle. If people thought I looked like a miserable cow now they know the reason. "Being on The Apprentice has turned out to be the biggest mistake of my life. It nearly cost me my health and sanity and producers couldn't give a s***. "No one cares about your welfare as long as it makes great TV." The People's report appears to have come from hearsay reported via a friend. Helene told the friend that the candidates ate junk food while the show was recorded and had just four hours sleep a night. |
