The Apprentice - Where are they now? - Tuan LeFilming has started for series three of the UK version of The Apprentice. Such was the popularity of the previous series shown on BBC2 that the new series has been scheduled to be shown on BBC1. I recently caught up with Tuan Le whose planning and marketing strategies helped Apprentice runner up Ruth the Badger, "win" the final task of series 2. Since quietly exiting the series after a lethargic Flat rental task, aptly nicknamed “The Planner”, Tuan has been busy with his career with Nationwide. He initially returned to his previous post as a Financial Consultant from last November to April 06, then securing a promotion to Area Sales Manager with them. He was then headhunted internally and recently became a Business Consultant with Nationwide. In true Tuan style though he has other strings to his bow and regularly undertakes keynote deliveries to businesses at their various conferences. With a keen eye on the future generation, and undoubtedly mindful of his own success from his early life, he also undertakes speaking engagements in the community. These include speaking to young children in schools in underprivileged areas on making themselves the "Masters of their future". He is also involved with the practicalities of running business workshop orientated seminars with Colleges and Sixth forms nationwide. Tuan may not have been “The Apprentice” but clearly shows that there is success in not being. And certainly being a planner is no bad thing. “The Apprentice” Contestants in series 3 should bear that in mind. We wish him well. |
