A charity game in the cards?

Online poker site 888.com is organizing a charity poker event which they hope will be played by none other than Princes William and Harry and their cousins Zara Philips and Princess Beatrice. If the site wins their gamble the young royals will play a single hand of Texas Hold'em. A game Prince Harry was said to have learned to play at Sandhurst.

Unlike other card games however there will be no real losers in this match! The winner of the game will receive £600,000 to donate to a charity of his or her choice and the other three players will donate £100,000 to a charity of their choice.

The charity event was inspired by the latest James Bond film Casino Royal. Says 888.com's Head of Offline Marketing Matt Robinson, "Royalty and card playing are intrinsically linked in history. With the advent of the new Bond film it seems only logical to stage a royal poker event in the name of charity."

It is still unclear if the young royals have agreed to participate. So place your bets if they will or not!
