Madame Tussauds is making a Kate Middleton waxwork

Fox News reports that the London museum of wax models of celebrities, Madame Tussauds, is "secretly" making a Kate Middleton waxwork "in time for the royal wedding next year".

A source has told Fox News that Kate “knows about this as we have had to ask friends for advice etc, but as she has not personally sat for us it's all from pictures, so it's harder than normal".

On the other hand, Madame Tussauds could just have commissioned the waxwork as a hedge. If William and Kate do announce their engagement then the museum wants to be able to jump on the bandwagon straight away. And if they don't "Kate" can be melted down to provide the wax for her replacement.
