I'm a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here! - Series 6 - Toby Anstis

A popular choice for I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here! sixth series is the very affable 37 year old Toby Anstis, aka 'the Tobester.'

Northampton born Toby Anstis and his twin sister Kate were adopted when only a few days old into a family with one older son. When they were 25 they traced and met their birth mother, with their adoptive parents' support.

Toby started his career in CBBC’s infamous broom cupboard with toffee loving puppet, Otis the Aardvark. The TV personality also presented BBC2’s The Ozone, a popular nineties music show which necessitated him travelling worldwide.

Since leaving the BBC in the mid 90s, he has hosted and appeared on many other show including the National Lottery Live, Children In Need the Reading Festival and Party in the Park, both of which were broadcast live on ITV.

Toby is no stranger to the Celebrity Reality TV shows having appeared on Big Brother’s Big Mouth and on Celebrity Fear Factor for Sky1 in June 2006.

He is a popular DJ and presenter on Heart 106.2 and presents his morning show, which starts with the time tunnel every weekday 9am - 1pm and on Saturdays 9am -12 PM. His show is proving a huge hit with listeners; he has a huge listening base and consequently is well known in London.

He also DJ’s at clubs and universities in his spare time.

More recently, in October 2006 Toby appeared on Channel Five’s “The All Star Talent Show” in which he danced very badly to Justin Timblerlake’s “SexyBack”. Ironically despite being arguably the worst performer on the show, he accepted the fact that he was bad with such good grace that he was voted as the winner.

Toby Anstis is one of three celebrities in the sixth series of I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here! who bookies are suggesting could be the early favourites.
