Prince William will lead Sandhurst parade

Prince William is due to graduate from Sandhurst in December of this year. Officer Cadet Wales (as he is known by his peers at Sandhurst) has been slated to lead the passing out parade, carrying the ceremonial flag known as the Sovereign’s Banner.

It has also been widely speculated that he may win the coveted Sword of Honour which is awarded to the top cadet of each graduating class.

His hopes of winning the Sword may have been dashed last month however, when he "misplaced" a weapon that was assigned to him and got a dressing down from a superior officer.
