Jordan's widowed Queen Noor has recently been linked to financier George Soros, although it may be just a friendship, as he is over 20 years her senior. The House of Grimaldi celebrated Monaco's National Day with a surprise appearance of Princess Caroline and her daughter Alexandra Clive Goodman, the royal editor of the News of the World, has pleaded guilty in a London court for plotting to intercept private phone messages involving the royal family. Goodman could face two years in jail for the crime. He will be sentenced early in 2007. Andy Coulson, the editor of the paper, later apologized to Prince William and Prince Harry for Goodman's actions. Her Majesty the Queen Elizabeth II and the Duke of Edinburgh are set to visit the United States in May 2007 to celebrate the 400th anniversary of the Jamestown Settlement . It was back to Africa for Harry when Chelsy graduated from Uni this month. Harry spent a week with Chelsy in Namibia prior to heading back to the UK to finish his training. It has been rumored that Chelsy will join Harry in the UK shortly before Christmas, and will make the move semi-permanent as she attends Bristol University to work on her masters degree. Prince William came under a bit of criticism this month, as a poster titled "William is not thinking risk" was created to remind hospital workers how not to hold a newborn baby. The Duchess of Cornwall was in the festive spirit as she switched on the Tetbury Christmas lights. It is rumored that job-shy Kate Middleton has finally gone to work-- Jigsaw clothing company has confirmed that Kate was hired a few weeks ago as an accessory buyer. This is not entirely surprising, as the owners of Jigsaw are close friends of both the Middleton's and the Prince of Wales. Crown Princess Letizia of Spain has announced that her second child is expected to be a girl Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary of Denmark took a trip down under to spend some quality time with the Donaldson clan. A plane carrying Dutch Royals Prince Willem and Princess Maxima had to make an emergency landing in New Zealand after passengers claimed they smelled smoke. |
