Kate gets chummy with the paparazzi who once haunted her

A few weeks ago Kate declared they were harassing her. In a complete about face, Kate has happily chatted to and posed for the very same photographers.

So friendly does she appear to be getting with them, that she was pictured standing in a doorstep chatting with a photographer, who respectfully had his camera pointed downwards.

Kate was out and about, on one of her frequent shopping trips, this time it's been speculated that she may have "invited" the paps along. The Express reports: "Later, the former St Andrews University student, who spent four and a half years going out with William, obliged the same paparazzi by going clothes shopping in high street fashion chains Zara and Topshop in Kensington.

"It was attention-seeking behaviour that prompted comparisons with William's mother, Princess Diana who regularly complained about media harassment but privately arranged to be photographed when it suited her in her war with Prince Charles."

Looking happy, chatting easily and laughing with the paparazzi, Kate could be seen to be inviting this attention. Many royal fans are grumbling about her night out and the very public way she conducted herself.

From visiting the same nightclub her now very ex-boyfriend attended last week, to as The Express reports, declaring gleefully herself:"I'm FREE!", it seems as though Kate is engaging in a juvenile tit-for-tat game with Wills.

Far from taking the break well, many are worried that Kate's seemingly vengeful actions at both Mahiki and on the street whilst shopping, may cause further damage to the already shaky public image of Prince William. Far from applauding Kate's demeanour, some are questioning her motives.

The Express also pours cold water on the claims that Kate has returned to work. The Express reported: "Kate, who works as a part-time accessories buyer for the high street fashion chain Jigsaw, has been seen at work only once this week when she popped into the firm's head office to pick up some paperwork after an earlier shopping trip in Kensington."

With her apparent enjoyment and ease of being in the spotlight supposedly one of the reasons for William breaking up with her, Kate seems to be courting drama and in the process endangering any chance she has of either a reconciliation or continuing friendship with Prince William.

Many royal fans now ask when it is that the media will breakup with Kate? As one poster on the royal forum said: "I doubt William made as many promises to Kate as the press did for him!"
