Prince William has amazed 12 of his army pals by getting them free tickets to the Chelsea vs Manchester United football match at the newly opened Wembley Stadium next month.
According to the Sunday Express, William will not be able to join his friends until after the match. His role as President of the Football Association will require him to be in the Royal Box for the game.
The Sunday Express article said: "His mates in the Blues & Royals won't have a word said against Prince William after he arranged for his boys to join him for a big treat at Wembley next month.
"I hear he is the toast of the officers' mess after securing 12 tickets for his favourite chaps to enjoy the game too."
William's friends can count themselves very lucky as seated tickets for this game are going for at least £1,000, with very few remaining.
What a good way to celebrate William's new found single status!
