Prince's Trust launches advertising campaign

To mark its 30th anniversary, the Prince's Trust will run an advertising and fund-raising campaign to highlight its work with disadvantaged young people.

The campaign will consist of radio and print ads and will culminate in a television show which will feature comedy, sport and live highlights of a concert to be held at the Tower of London. Prince Charles, Prince William and Prince Harry will give a joint interview which will be aired as part of this television show on 20 May. TV personalities Ant & Dec will conduct the pre-recorded interview, as they are ambassadors to the charity.

Prince William is looking forward to the event and stated, "Everyone faces problems from time to time, but too many young people have lost all hope for the future. The Prince's Trust gives practical support to help these people get back on their feet. That's why I'm looking forward so much to this great evening."

Prince Charles set up the Prince's Trust with a modest amount of money when he left the Royal Navy in 1976, and it currently has an annual turnover of nearly £50m. The Prince's Trust has operations in Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland and every English region and has helped over half a million young people.
