Prince Harry to support Prince's Trust in Scotland

No rest for the Royals- Not even on Granny's big day

Prince Harry will not be spending the day with his granny on her birthday this year. According to the Royal Diary, Prince Harry will be in Glasgow, Scotland on Friday to meet with young people at the Larkfield Community Centre, who have participated in various projects with the Prince's Trust.

This will be Harry's first royal engagement as a Second Lieutenant in the British Army, although it is certainly not the first time he has appeared in front of press during an official engagement.

Prince Harry made his royal debut at the age of 8, along side his mother on a visit to the base of the Light Dragoons in Germany.

Then when Harry was 18, he undertook a few engagements on his own and in the interview to mark his birthday, he stated, "It was quite difficult at first, being younger and not as experienced as some of the people I was meeting," he said. "I have seen my mother doing it so many times and she was so good at it. But the more I do it in the future, the better I hope to become. "It was very different. In the past, I've always had my father and brother there. At things like the (Queen's Golden) Jubilee, when we met crowds in the Mall, I just followed what they did and shook hands as they did. But it's definitely harder doing it on your own."

Harry won't have to worry on Friday however, as he will have his father at his side to guide him.
