The single entered the official UK top 40 at number ten on 2nd November 2003. Surrender (Your Love) Javine's second single, Surrender (Your Love), was at number 15 on 16th November 2003. On 20th October a jury has found Cheryl Tweedy guilty of assaulting a nightclub worker, Sophie Amogbokpa. The jury had reached a unanimous verdict that Cheryl was not guilty of the more serious of two charges, racially aggravated assault occasioning actual bodily harm. But they found her guilty of the charge of assault occasioning actual bodily harm. Girls Aloud and Hugh Grant Girls Aloud have landed a £500,000 deal to record the theme tune to Hugh Grant’s latest movie, Love Actually. This will be a cover of The Pointer Sisters’ 1984 hit, Jump, as the film’s title track. Clea Download It Chloe, Lynsey, Emma and Aimee formed Clea and released Download It on 22nd September. The single reached number 21 in the Official UK Top 40 on 28th September 2003. Life Got Cold for Girls Aloud Girls Aloud released Life Got Cold on 18th August 2003. It was number three in the Official UK Top 40 on 24th August. Some people are claiming that it "appears to have borrowed" heavily from the Oasis track, Wonderwall. Javine single Javine's debut single Real Things entered the Official UK Top 40 at number four on 13th July 2003. Javine appeared on Top of the Pops on 18th July |
