Raymond Blanc's The Restaurant - Series 1 runners up Jess and Laura Tilli

What happened to the viewers' favourites, the 29-year-old twins Jess and Laura whose enthusiastic commitment and competence saw them win several “Restaurant of the week” awards for their Green and Brown restaurant?

Jess and Laura Tilli, (formerly Thompson), were runners up to Jeremy and Jane Hooper in series 1 of The Restaurant.

In the past Jessica had been an actress and both had appeared on Saturday morning TV as children's presenters. Activity on their blogs and Facebook accounts suggest that they still see themselves as possible TV presenters, but there is some news on the food front.

In February the pair offered food in the style of their Brown and Green restaurant at a London pub near to where they live. Pub regulars at the Gipsy Hill Tavern in Crystal Palace were being treated to Jess and Laura's food every Friday night and Sunday lunchtime, to pleasing reviews.
