Prince William made a surprise visit last Friday on 109-years-old Catherine Masters, the oldest woman in Oxfordshire.
Prince William visited Mrs Masters and other residents at the Grange Care Centre,at Stanford in the Vale, giving just five minutes notice.
Mrs Masters complained about Queen Elizabeth’s yellow dress which was worn in the photo for five successive birthday cards she had received from Her Majesty. She had evidently discovered a secret of Queen Elizabeth who uses the same photo-shoot to collect photos for five successive birthday cards for centenarians.
Prince William said he would tell his grandmother it was time to change her dress this year. But Mrs Masters could see the same new dress in next year's card and in the year after that if the Queen sticks to her policy.
