X Factor 5 - Eoghan Quigg through to the Final 24 but is he strong enough for the Live Shows?

Last night's bootcamp show had Simon wondering, despite how good he was, if 16-year-old Eoghan Quigg could do with another year or so. The judges obviously thought not as the schoolboy from Derry found himself through to the Final 24 stage of X Factor.

There's no doubt that he can sing, though opinion differs on quite how well, and his cute looks will appeal to many but, as is often the case with the younger contestants, is Eoghan vocally strong enough for the live shows?

Early betting odds had him as joint 2nd favourite to win though his odds have now slumped - perhaps after Simon's misgivings or perhaps just Eoghan's performance? We will have to wait until this weekend to see if Simon (who will be mentoring the Boys category) thinks he is good enough for the Live shows.
