Rachel Hylton to be axed from The X Factor?

Rachel Hylton could be axed by X Factor producers in the next day or so - although she is lined up as one of the twelve acts to launch the live shows on ITV1 on Saturday.

There are allegations that Rachel smoked marijuana at boot camp and that she bullied rival Ruth Lorenzo there as well. It is understood that Ruth was put in the same hotel room as Rachel at boot camp and annoyed Ruth by smoking cigarettes there.

Press reports say that Rachel will be hauled before X Factor producers in the next day or so.

If Rachel is axed this week she could be replaced by Suzie Furlonger who reportedly criticised Dannii Minogue's lack of interest in the final six when they were taken out to house somewhere near St Tropez - ignoring her for other than 45 minutes in three days - or one of two weaker candidates, James Williams and Louise Heatly.
